A Good Day on the Outnet

Even though they've turned the water off in my building AGAIN today (for maintenance. Please, i pay my bills), I've managed to find some solace in my favorite activity -- SHOPPING ONLINE SAMPLE SALES.

My favorite of all favorite sale sites - theOutnet.com (net-a-porter's outlet site) is having some great bargains today.

If you're a member, for the next 45 minutes you can participate with me in the Going,Going, Gone sale on this Jimmy Choo Clutch.

I want it and I will get it and I will pray it drops to below $1000. If I can score it for anywhere under $500, i know that I've got luck on my side.

In other news, there's a small sale on Marchesa dresses, and this dress that both Miley & Heidi Klum wore is about 75% off. It's fabulous and if there were a size that fit my boobs, you know that I'd be on it.

So, with that being said, I'll be on the outnet.com all day, while I try to pretend that I don't have to study for this Organizational Behaviour midterm.

I've Been Waiting So Long for this One.

it's finally here! the Temptu professional airbrush system is available at Sephora.com & in Sephora Stores.

For makeup junkies, this is an unbeatable bargain! I, personally, am dying for one of these & when Eric at Sephora Georgetown (DC) told me that they'd be launching this product sometime in Fall 2009, I was filled with glee.

Also, remember that if you're a beauty insider, this purchase could bring you closer to becoming a V.I.B. (any beauty insider that spends $350 in one calendar year) and also takes you about 1/2 way to the 500 point perk ( currently a full-size Kat Von D eyeshadow palette).

If you're interested in learning more about VIB perks, ask me or visit Sephora.com.

This Temptu system is DEFINITELY on my holiday gift list, right underneath the zebra print snuggie.

DC Shoppers (this one's for you!)

It's that time of year again & I had totally forgotten until one of the shopgirls from the Jimmy Choo in Friendship Heights called to remind me (& also tried to tempt me into buying the Jazz Pump....she can't make me).

It's Care for Kids shopping week!!!

Here's how it works:

Go into any of your favorite upscale retailers, and with a donation of $50, you receive 20% off on whatever you want in that store!
Also, 100% of that $50 is going to go to National Children's Medical Center! So you can feel good about your money going to help the kids. I know 20% off doesn't sound like alot, but on high-end items you can end up saving as much as $1000!!! that's so much, it's like a month of rent! But, I mean, do it for the kids.

Any Additional details and a list of retail stores is at http://www.careforkidscard.com/.
Shopping Days are from October 23 (that's yesterday) until November 1st. Get to shopping!
